NEWS FLASH June 2010

Cobwebcrafts has changed location.

The new venue is at the side of the Waveney river at the gateway to the Norfolk Broads at Beccles Quay.

The new cobwebcrafts will open to the public from Sunday August 1st 2010.

The new address is:

cobwebcrafts, Riverside House, Gillingham Dam, Beccles, Suffolk, NR34 0PA

Joining me at the new venue is John Wilson, stained glass maker from Village Stained Glass.

Thank you too my past customers at Henstead, and to the too numerous to name woodturners who have called in for a chat over the last three and a half years. I hope to see you all again soon at the new venue.

Cobweb Crafts is essentially one man with a lathe,a passion for the material, the possibilities of form,colour, and texture, and the pleasure of having something new to learn each day. I am a Woodturner living and working in the Suffolk countryside close to the Broads, coast, and heath lands that offer much in the way of inspiration. The vast majority of woods I use are locally sourced native timbers, much coming from woodland and estate management schemes.

Most of my pieces are one-off pieces, and whilst two may appear similar, no two are ever identical (Unless this is specifically requested, of course). If the piece you would like is already sold I can turn a similar item for you. I am also able to produce commissioned pieces to the client's specification.
