Crafts is essentially one man with a lathe, a passion for the material,
the possibilities of form,colour, and texture, and the pleasure of having
something new to learn each day. I am a Woodturner living and working in the
Suffolk countryside close to the Broads, coast, and heath lands that offer much
in the way of inspiration. The vast majority of woods I use are locally sourced
native timbers, much coming from woodland and estate management schemes.
All my
pieces are one-off pieces, and whilst two may appear similar,
no two are ever identical (Unless this is specifically requested, of course).
If the piece you would like is already sold I can turn a similar item for
you. I am also able to produce commissioned pieces to the
client's specification.
